Epoxy Flooring FAQ: Cost, Cure Time & Care

Everything you need to know before you choose a new floor. Still have questions? Give us a call.

How long does an epoxy floor last?
With proper surface prep and a quality topcoat, a professionally installed resin floor can last for many years. Lifespan depends on the system, how much traffic the floor sees and how it is cared for.
How long does installation take?
A metallic epoxy floor typically takes about 4 to 7 days to complete, and a flake epoxy floor typically takes about 2 to 3 days. The exact timeline depends on the size of the space and the condition of the concrete, and we give you a clear schedule with your quote.
When can I walk and park on my new floor?
We will tell you exactly when you can walk on and drive onto your new floor when we finish, because it depends on the system and the conditions. Metallic floors take about 4 to 7 days to complete and flake floors about 2 to 3 days, so please keep the area clear until we give you the all-clear.
Will epoxy work on concrete that has moisture?
Yes, with the right system. Moisture is common in Washington concrete, so we use moisture-mitigating base coats designed for local conditions.
Are epoxy floors slippery?
They do not have to be. Flake systems add natural texture, and we offer slip-resistant additives for any finish.
How do I clean and maintain my floor?
Sweep or dust-mop regularly and mop with warm water and a mild cleaner. No waxing or resurfacing is needed.
How much does an epoxy floor cost?
Pricing depends on the size and condition of your concrete and the system you choose. We provide free on-site quotes so you get an accurate number.
Do you work on commercial projects?
Yes. We install floors for salons, spas, showrooms, retail stores, bars and other businesses, with options to keep downtime short.
